Set at The CURRENT Hotel in Tampa, Florida, this boutique property offers panoramic views of Tampa Bay that instantly elevate any celebration. With its modern architecture, chic coastal aesthetic, and breathtaking waterfront setting, it was the perfect canvas for a wedding that blended style with heartfelt moments.
Getting Ready at the CURRENT Hotel
As the soft morning light filtered into her suite, Natalie was completely radiant. A quiet kind of joy that filled the room even before she slipped into her dress. Surrounded by her closest friends, Natalie spent the morning laughing, reminiscing and toasting to her forever with mimosas in hand. Everyone helped one another get ready for Natalie’s big day, with a final special moment between Natalie and her mom as she zipped up the dress.
A few doors down, Evan shared a quiet moment by the window to take in the view, the day, and the life he was about to build with Natalie. His crew kept things easy and light by tying ties, sharing a few laughs, and making sure Evan had everything he needed (including a solid glass before heading out).
Coastal CURRENT Hotel Ceremony
Set on the edge of Rocky Point, The CURRENT Hotel offers unmatched waterfront views with a sleek, modern vibe. Their ceremony took place on the hotel’s private beach, where soft white sand met the calm bay waters, creating a peaceful and romantic atmosphere as they exchanged their vows beneath vibrant florals.
As Natalie walked down the sandy aisle, a soft sea breeze caught her veil just right. Evan met her with a steady smile. The sun glinted off the water as the couple said “I do” in front of close family and friends.
Standing in the sand, wrapped in sunlight and possibility, Natalie and Evan promised each other a life filled with love.
The newlyweds made their way back down the aisle as husband and wife, smiles wide and hands intertwined.

After the ceremony, guests sipped on the sweetest signature cocktails named after Natalie and Evan’s beloved pups (we couldn’t get enough of this personal touch!). The reception space was absolutely breathtaking, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the bay and pops of soft blue woven into the crisp white linens. A subtle nod to the ocean that inspired their day.
As the night went on, the celebration felt effortless and full of heart. Natalie and Evan shared quiet glances across the table, danced hand-in-hand with grandparents, clinked glasses with lifelong friends, and truly soaked in every moment together. As planners, this is what we live for, to ensure that you enjoy each and every moment.
Love Note From the Couple: “Prior to our wedding, Marykate helped us create the perfect wedding day timeline. She reviewed vendor contracts and provided helpful feedback. Later on, she worked behind-the-scenes to introduce herself and provide vendor timelines to each of our vendors. As the sun set and the lights dimmed, the celebration shifted into full party mode! The dance floor buzzing with energy thanks to the incredible Sofa Kings band! What made it even more special was the personal connection: Natalie grew up dancing to this very band as a little girl, and having them play at her wedding felt like a full circle moment.
The night was filled with laughter, music, and so much joy, yet even in the most high-energy moments, there was a deeper layer to it all. Between the twirls and singalongs, Natalie and Evan carried a quiet, steady connection – the kind of love that lingers long after the music fades.
