Their love story began in the most heartfelt, country-music way possible: they met at a Thomas Rhett concert! What started as a night filled with music became the beginning of a relationship full of laughter, adventure, and effortless chemistry. It made perfect sense that their wedding carried that same easy, genuine warmth.

Because both Ailey and Winton are originally from up north, their celebration became a true destination wedding. And from the start, they knew they wanted their guests to experience something special. As Ailey shared:
“We are both originally from up north so it became a destination wedding. We knew we wanted the wow factor for our out of town guests and wanted to make them feel like they were on vacation. The Hotel Zamora not only had the wow factor but also being a boutique hotel enabled all our guests to stay there! We were able to do the reception and ceremony in one spot so no need for extra transportation. It was just a dream.”

“I met MaryKate at a wedding planning event on the roof of Red Mesa. She wasn’t the only planner vendor there but she stood out!!! She was bubbly and welcoming and personable. Another planner focused on what she couldn’t do for us, whereas MaryKate had a list of things she could do. I mean, she made half my decor!!! I even got my first bridal merch from her (bride earrings). As soon as my husband met her, the choice was a no-brainer.”

Her advice to future couples was fresh, honest, and so spot-on:
“Book the planner!! Don’t listen to what anyone has to say. You don’t ‘need’ to have certain things and you do need some things! For us it was minimal flowers, minimal decor. People kept telling us we needed more candles for the table (we didn’t). The things I wanted people to enjoy are the things they commented on: the food, the flawless timeline of the day, and the ceremony.”
